Researcher Mr. Saleh Bin Bishr received a Master's degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Structural Engineering and Construction.

He discussed his master's thesis entitled "Self-healing Concrete by Using Magnesium Oxide (MgO)'' to complete the requirements for obtaining the master's degree.

Mr. Saleh indicated that the research coincides with the technological development in the field of building materials development using chemicals that help in improving the infrastructure of concrete.

He added that the research discusses the concrete's ability to close the cracks that appear on them automatically by adding specific ratios of Magnesium Oxide (MgO) to the concrete, explaining that magnesium does its role in self-closing the cracks.

Hadhramaut Foundation extends its warmest congratulations to the researcher, Mr. Saleh bin Bishr, for his Master's degree, recommending that he has to benefit his country and contributing to country-building with the knowledge he has gained in Malaysia.

Mr. Saleh bin Bishr is one of the scholarship students of Hadhramaut Foundation to the Kingdom of Malaysia to study the Master in Structural Engineering and Construction.
