About Model Secondary Schools


The wealth of peoples is measured by their human wealth, and it is certain that this wealth is the hope and the goal of every enlightened educational policy, especially those individuals who have the creative abilities, skills and special features; that can shape and implement future plans. According to a study, the most accomplished and creative people are at the head of those individuals who the developed countries are interested in discovering them.

As a result, the model schools were established within the public education programs of the Foundation in the academic year 2007/2008 with the opening of two model secondary schools for boys in the cities of Mukalla and Seiyun, followed by secondary school for girls in Seiyun in the academic year 2012/2013 and then a model secondary school for girls in Mukalla in the academic year 2018 / 2019. They aim to care for the early recipients of higher educational attainment of graduates of basic education from all directorates of Hadhramaut Governorate, Coast, Valley and other neighboring governorates.


It is a unique educational experience and the most successful partnership in the filed of education between civil society organizations and the Ministry of Education, said the former Minister of Education Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Jawfi. In a partnership with offices of Ministry of education in the governorate, the Foundation pledged to sponsor the model schools through providing the appropriate educational environment and finding a constituent budget that ensures the continuity of education with high quality scientific specifications. These schools were founded due to the belief of Hadhramaut Foundation with the highly qualified, who represent a source of tender that will contribute to excellence in providing the needs of their community and human communities.


The Foundation is proud today to join the graduates of model schools with the finest universities at the regional and international levels and some of them graduated in rare disciplines

 

The model schools aim to achieve the following:

1- Taking care of outstanding, creative and talented students.


2- Creating suitable conditions for a segment of the people of the province who have the intellectual potential, creative energy and multi-giving capacity.


3- Spreading the culture of quality in the framework of school life through the existence of model schools followed by the other schools.


4- Urging young people to compete honestly to achieve the best results in the achievement of education.
