Hadhramout Foundation Launches The On-Job Training Program.
Hadhramout Foundation - Human Development - launched the on-job training program under the auspices of the Governor of Hadramout Governorate, Commander of the Second Military Region, Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, in partnership with the Hadramout Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
At the inauguration ceremony, the Executive Director of the Foundation referred to the Foundation’s contributions, which stemmed from its fundamental goals to enhance the level of education, develop the educational environment, refine skills, create opportunities, and strengthen partnerships with similar, national, regional and international agencies to increase the level of development in the governorate. He also noted the contributions made by the Foundation in the educational aspects, training institutes and scholarships, and in the graduation of many beneficiaries and supporting them to achieve their ambitious goals.
Acting General Director of the Hadramout Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Munif Lahmady praised the efforts of the Alumni Club for its interest and contribution to execute qualifying programs for technical institutions and university graduates through training and linking them to the labor market through finding opportunities in companies and institutions. He also appreciated the contribution of the private sector in the governorate, including companies, institutions and factories for their great cooperation in embracing trainees and employing large numbers of graduates, benefiting from their skills and supporting them to achieve their demands in employment.
Moreover, the head of Alumni Club department, Eng. Saeed Barayan, explained the mechanism for implementing the stages of the program by counting the participants and the preparations that the club implemented to work on the training and qualification within companies and institutions for a maximum period of three months. In addition, he discussed the stages of follow-up, evaluation and assistance for the trainees to obtain job opportunities after the evaluation at the end of the training.
The ceremony was attended by the Vice President of the Hadramout Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Faris Bin Halabi, the Executive Director of the Bin Kardous Group, Dr. Al-Abd Al-Tamimi, and a number of businessmen and representatives of companies and institutions participating in the program
