The internal housing was established to achieve the mission of the educational process by providing the family environment for the students accepted in the secondary schools from the directorates away from Mukalla and Seiyun . They also contributed to the formation of the students' personality and their care from the psychological, social and health aspects and to enable them to increase their educational attainment by creating the appropriate atmosphere for students so that the student can take full time to study and higher educational attainment under the supervision of the General Education Department of the institution, which provides these services in the context of its general policy, which is interested in finding the appropriate place, so that the student can produce and be a good brick of the building blocks of this nation.

Internal housing helps to modify the behavior of students and not to mix with bad friends because of the regulatory environment supervised by specialists in this area.

Internal housing is one of the key factors that positively affect a student's life. This is in addition to the role played by the institution represented in the Department of General Education, which sought to create and provide a social, educational, cultural, and sports regulatory environment that provides the student with a lot of opportunities to develop his abilities and demonstrate his skills and needs.

The Internal housing buildings are considered one of the finest student residences in the country in general and the governorate of Hadhramaut in particular, especially in terms of quality, implementation and integration of services available to them. The Internal housing for students are located in the cities of Mukalla and Seiyun . Each housing consists of fully serviced floors and furnished apartments equipped with all necessary necessities.

At the beginning of each new academic year, students are accepted to study in the secondary schools (first grade) who are outside Mukalla governorate and Seiyun . Where the accepted students fill out the application form for residence in the Internal housing and the student and his/ her guardian sign the pledge paper and abide by it.

The General Education Department supervises the implementation of the activities (cultural, social, sports, ...) of students from the activities of descriptive and programs for housing students - inside and outside the residence - from developmental lectures, awareness and sports competitions, trips, meetings, visits and others through housing supervisors and student committees.

Internal housing of the two secondary schools offers the following free services for students:

- Supervisors and security guards around the clock.

- Housing services (beds, pillows and blankets), and the processing of room furniture with modern quality to fit with student housing.

- Catering and drinking services (offering three meals per day in the housing).

- Providing first aid and referring emergency cases to the hospital and providing free treatment.

- Laundry services (there are washing machines for laundry).

- Preparing TV viewing halls.

- Providing a specialist to carry out the required maintenance work.

- Providing cleaning workers to maintain the cleanliness and health of the place.

- Providing buses to transport students from housing to secondary and vice versa.
